Oak Lake-Brandon 7 Shoal Lake 5
The Oak Lake-Brandon Icemen remain undefeated in regulation time this season after a 7-5 win over the Shoal Lake Eagles in Oak Lake on Wednesday, Dec. 16. The win  moved the Icemen into first place in the North Central Hockey League, two points up on the Grandview Comets.
Riley Day and Dustin Hildebrand each scored twice for the hosts, who sealed the win with an empty net goal with 27 seconds left. Single markers came off the sticks of Landon Desjardins, Ryan Halliday and Trevor Derlago.
Bryce Cowling had a pair of goals for the Eagles, who trailed 3-2 after the first, but were tied 4-4 with the Icemen after 40 minutes. Ryan Nesbitt, Robby Memryk and Jay Thiessen were the other Shoal Lake marksmen.

Miniota-Elkhorn 8 Minnedosa 4
Sean McKean, Jordan Mitchell and Gabriel Huberdeau each scored twice as the C-Hawks doubled the Bombers 8-4 in Minnedosa on Sunday, Dec. 13.
Curtis Gardham and Tyler Mitchell also scored for the visitors, who held 2-1 and 5-3 period leads.
Tyler Jury with a pair, Wilco VanMeijl and Devon Foord replied for the Bombers.

Grandview 12 Virden 1
Brett Ewanyshyn had a hat trick as the Comets hammered the Oil Kings 12-1 in Grandview on Sunday, Dec. 13.
Kaine Morran and Steegan Stoski added a pair each for the hosts, who led 2-1 and 7-1 by periods. Single markers came off the sticks of Jeff Legaarden, Ian Brezden, Andrew Rosolowsky, Jerron Kyle and Dave Elder.
Robyn Cantelo was the lone Virden marksman.

Oak Lake-Brandon 7 Roblin 3
Richard Didluck scored twice as the Icemen dumped the Northstars in Roblin on Sunday, Dec. 13.
Ryan Halliday, Barry Rost, Justin Watters, Dustin Hildebrand and Riley Day added singles for the Icemen.
Jarrett Newton, Rick Scott and Jared Ruf replied for the Northstars, who trailed 3-1 and 4-3 at the intermissions.

Foxwarren 6 Kenton 2
Trent Tibbatts scored three times as the Falcons got past the Cougars 6-2 in Hamiota on Saturday, Dec. 12.
Danny Johnston, Steven Chipelski and Derrick Jensen added singles for the Falcons, who held period leads of 2-0 and 4-1.
Andrew Johnson and Jody Anderson scored for Kenton.

Oak Lake-Brandon 8 Miniota-Elkhorn 4
Richard Didluck recorded a hat trick as the Icemen rallied from a 2-1 first period deficit to defeat the C-Hawks 8-4 in Oak Lake on Saturday, Dec. 12.
Adam Hetherington and Dustin Hildebrand each added a pair of goals for the hosts, while Trevor Derlago notched a single.
Curtis Gardham, Jody Magotioux, Kelsey McLeod and Jason Corbett scored for the C-Hawks, who trailed 4-3 after 40 minutes.

Foxwarren 9 Minnedosa 2
Trent Tibbatts fired a hat trick to lead the Falcons to a 9-2 drubbing of the Bombers in Minnedosa on Friday, Dec. 11.
Danny Johnston and Brad Mailman each chipped in with a pair of markers for the Falcons, who took a 4-1 second period lead. The teams were scoreless through 20 minutes.
Also scoring for Foxwarren were David Barteaux and Cory Hodgson.
Wes Lewis had both Minnedosa goals.

Shoal Lake 4 Grandview 1
The Eagles scored a 4-1 upset win over the Comets in Shoal Lake on Friday, Dec. 11.
Jay Thiesen scored a pair of goals for the Eagles, who took a 3-1 first period lead and added another in the second.
Joel Yanick and Jeff Neufeld were the other Shoal Lake marksmen.
Chris Porter scored for the Comets.
