Jody Anderson, Scott Peters and Kyle Brown scored for the Cougars, who trailed 8-1 after the second period. Minnedosa 6 Virden 5 Tyler Jury scored two goals in the last minute of the third period to lead the Bombers to a 6-5 win over the Oil Kings in Minnedosa on Thursday, Jan. 28. Trailing 5-4, Jury scored with 13 seconds left and followed up with the game winner just nine seconds later. Stu Boyd, Wes Lewis, Devon Foord and Wynn VanMeijl also scored for the hosts.
