Oak Lake-Brandon 9 Miniota-Elkhorn 3
Landon Desjardin fired a hat trick to lead the Oak Lake-Brandon Icemen to a 9-3 win over the Miniota-Elkhorn C-Hawks in a North Central Hockey League game in Oak Lake on Wednesday, Jan. 20.
The win moved the Icemen three points up on the third-place C-Hawks, and also allowed them to remain four points back of the first-place Grandview Comets.
Richard Didluck added a pair of goals for the hosts, while Ryan Halliday, Dustin Hildebrandon, Jordan Zenk and Riley Day notched singles.
Jody Magatioux, Kyle Fouillard and Curtis Gardham replied for the C-Hawks, who trailed 2-0 and 5-2 at the intermissions.

Grandview 9 Foxwarren 1
The Comets received two-goal performances from Chris Porter, Steegan Stoski and Brett Ewanyshyn as they rolled to a 9-1 win over the Falcons in Foxwarren on Wednesday, Jan. 20.
Kaine Morran, Luke Stokotelny and Kyle Lopez added singles for the Comets, who led 4-0 and 8-1 at the intermissions.
Trent Tibbatts scored for the Falcons.

Roblin 8 Foxwarren 7 (OT)
Ryan Brawn's scored his third goal of the game with 23 seconds left in overtime to lift the Northstars to an 8-7 win over the Falcons in Roblin on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
Jarrett Newton, Clayton Kohlman, Rick Scott, Billy Harrison and Devron Jakeman added singles for the hosts, who led 4-1 and 6-3 at the intermissions.
Devon Bell-Evans had a hat trick for the Falcons, while Trent Tibbatts notched a pair. Single markers came off the sticks of David Barteaux and Derek Falloon.

Reston 4 Kenton 1
Buddy Mayert scored twice as the Rockets got past the Cougars 4-1 in Hamiota on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
Brandon Wilkinson and Kent Schiltroth added singles for the visitors, who led 2-1 and 4-1 at the intermissions.
Brad Roth had the Kenton goal.

Reston 8 Virden 3
Buddy Mayert and Nolan Jago scored two goals each to lead the Rockets to an 8-3 win over the Oil Kings in Reston on Sunday, Jan. 17.
Also scoring for the hosts were Kent Schiltroth, Derrus Gray, Aaron DeRoo and Kurtis Callander.
Tyler Skolinski, Shawn DeGagne and Chance Horn replied for the Oil Kings, who led 2-0 after the first period but trailed 4-3 after 40 minutes.

Andy Puchailo recorded his first shutout of the season as the Comets blanked the Northstars 8-0 in Robin on Saturday, Jan. 16.
Eight players - Ian Brezden, Ryan Balak, Brent Crowe, Mike Pitman, Kyle Lopez, Brett Ewanyshyn, Jerron Kyle and Luke Stokotelny - scored for the Comets.
Grandview led 1-0 and 5-0 at the intermissions.

Miniota-Elkhorn 6 Reston 3
Duncan Lelond and Curtis Gardham had a pair of goals each as the C-Hawks doubled the Rockets 6-3 in Miniota on Saturday, Jan. 16.
The C-Hawks took a 4-0 first period lead and led 5-2 after 40 minutes.
Chipping in with singles were Nat Howard and Kelsey McLeod.
Aaron DeRoo, Shane Skeoch and Kurtis Callander were the Reston marksmen.

Shoal Lake 7 Foxwarren 1
The Eagles received two-goal performances from three different players enroute to a 7-1 win over the Falcons in Foxwarren on Saturday, Jan. 16.
Donovan Chief, Bryce Cowling and Joel Yanick each scored twice for the Eagles, who led 1-0 and 4-1 at the intermissions. Graeme Hobbs had the other goal.
Devon Bell-Evans tallied for the Falcons.

Oak Lake-Brandon 12 Kenton 2
Ryan Halliday scored four goals as the Icemen hammered the Cougars 12-2 in Hamiota on Friday, Jan. 15.
Jordan Zenk and Richard Didluck each notched a pair for the Icemen, while Landon Desjardins, Dustin Hildebrand, Kyle Cochrane and Riley Day chipped in with singles.
Scoring for the Cougars, who trailed 4-0 and 9-1 by periods, were Martin Finnie and Ryan Carter.

Shoal Lake 9 Minnedosa 3
Nathan Holovach recorded a hat trick and added three assists as the Eagles skated to a 9-3 win over the Bombers in Shoal Lake on Friday, Jan. 15.
Robby Memryk had a pair of goals for the hosts, who led 4-2 and 7-2 at the period breaks. Single markers came off the sticks of Graeme Hobbs, Carey Findlay, Joel Yanick and Donovan Chief.
Chris Krutkewich, Wes Lewis and Tyler Jury were the Minnedosa marksmen.

Foxwarren 6 Minnedosa 3
Nick Prescott scored twice as the Falcons doubled the Bombers in Minnedosa on Thursday, Jan. 14.
Brad Mailman, Myles Shingoose, Jay Derkach and Devon Bell-Evans added singles for the Falcons.
Replying for the Bombers were Devon Foord, Wes Lewis and Tyler Jury.
The teams were tied 1-1 after the first period, but the Falcons led 5-2 going into the third.

Oak Lake-Brandon 12 Virden 1
Ryan Halliday recorded a hat trick and added four assists to lead the Icemen to a 12-1 drubbing of the Oil Kings in Virden on Thursday, Jan. 14.
Landon Desjardins and Richard Didluck each chipped in with a pair of goals for the visitors, with Justin Watters, Jaye Judd, Adam Hetherington, Tyler Nichol and Jeremy Champagne adding singles.
Joel Cousins replied for the Oil Kings, who trailed 1-0 and 5-1 at the intermissions.
