Oak Lake-Brandon 7 Reston 6 (SO)
Defenceman Barry Rost scored the shootout winner as the Oak Lake-Brandon Icemen edged the Reston Rockets 7-6 in a North Central Hockey League game in Reston on Wednesday, Nov. 25.
The result left the two teams tied for first place with nine points each. The Icemen, however, have a game in hand.
The Icemen trailed 5-1 after the first period, but rallied with four unanswered second period goals to tie the game.
Kenny Mott scored twice for the Icemen in regulation time, while Landon Desjardins, Ryan Halliday, Justin Watters and Brock Bastone notching singles.
Andrew Lochead, Kurtis Callander, Nolan Jago, Jason Roblin, Kent Schiltroth and Derek Elliott were the Reston marksmen.

Foxwarren 6 Roblin 4
The Falcons rallied from a 4-2 first period deficit to defeat the Northstars 6-4 in Foxwarren on Tuesday, Nov. 24.
Danny Johnston and Devon Bell-Evans had two goals each for the hosts, who tied the score 4-4 after 40 minutes. Nick Prescott's third period goal proved to be the game winner, with Trent Tibbatts adding an insurance marker with 28 seconds left.
Jarrett Newton with a pair, Bryan Buick and Trevor Rapchalk replied for the Northstars.

Miniota-Elkhorn 7 Kenton 3
The C-Hawks remained undefeated after their first four games with a 7-3 win over the Cougars in Elkhorn on Tuesday, Nov. 24. The C-Hawks now have three wins and a shootout loss.
Gabriel Huberdeau scored twice for the hosts, who rallied from a 2-0 first period deficit. Single markers came off the sticks of Sean McKean, Tyler Mitchell, Curtis Gardham, Jamie Sheane and Jason Corbett.
Jody Anderson had a pair of goals for the Cougars, while Scott Peters chipped in with a single.

Grandview 10 Kenton 0
Danny McDonald recorded the first shutout of the North Central Hockey League season as the Comets blanked the Cougars 10-0 in Grandview on Sunday, Nov. 22.
The Comets were led offensively by Luke Stokotelny's hat trick, while Chris Porter and Steegan Stoski added two goals each. Brett Ewanyshyn, Dave Elder and Ian Brezden chipped in with singles.

Roblin 11 Virden 1
Devron Jakeman scored four consecutive goals to lead the Northstars to an 11-1 thrashing of the Oil Kings in Roblin on Sunday, Nov. 22.
Billy Harrison and Ryan Bram each added a pair for the hosts, who led 1-0 and 8-0 at the intermissions. Single markers came off the sticks of Shawn Yakimishyn, Cody Hart and Andrew Kobelka.
Mark McDonald had the Virden goal.

Grandview 5 Shoal Lake 2
The Comets took a 2-0 first period lead enroute to a 5-2 win over the Eagles in Shoal Lake on Saturday, Nov. 21.
Brett Ewanyshyn, Luke Stokotelny, Kyle Lopez, Steegan Stoski and Kaine Morran scored for the visitors, who led 4-2 after 40 minutes.
Jeff Neufeld and Donovan Chief replied for the Eagles.

Reston 10 Minnedosa 2
Buddy Mayter and Kent Schiltroth each had hat tricks as the Rockets blasted the Bombers 10-2 in Reston on Friday, Nov. 20.
Jamie Fotheringham added a pair of goals for the hosts, who led 5-0 and 10-1 at the intermissions. Single markers came off the sticks of Tyson Roblin and Nolan Jago.
The Minnedosa goalscorers were Matt Saler and Wes Lewis.

Foxwarren 5 Minnedosa 4 (SO)
Marcel Tanguay's shootout goal was the difference as the Falcons edged the Bombers 5-4 in Minnedosa on Thursday, Nov. 19.
Danny Johnston scored twice for the Falcons, while Myles Shingoose and Devon Bell-Evans notched singles.
Michael Coutts, Brent Madill, Devon Foord and Matt Saler replied for Minnedosa.
